<p><strong>Here are the daily actions that bring results:</strong></p>
<p><strong>LIST AND CONTACT:</strong> find out if a person is interested in looking at an opportunity.  You are merely fishing for interest, not blasting them with an overload of information. <strong><em>Less is More!</em></strong>  <span style="text-decoration:underline;">This is the number one mistake new marketers make is oversharing with a product-first marketing approach</span>.  You are not selling travel, you are inviting to an opportunity for people to &#8220;Own Their Lives!&#8221;  See email and phone call scripts in the QuickStart to see how to do this.</p>
<p><strong>INVITE:</strong> if they are interested to learn what you are excited about, point them to <a href="http://en.wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/">www.WhatisQuestTravelNetwork.com</a></p>
<p> That&#8217;s it.  Not your website, not your travel center, not anything else.  Just the video. (later, if they happen to say they are not interested, at least get them to book travel to get guaranteed best rates through your site and you will get paid!)</p>
<p>Say to them in your communication, &#8220;after seeing/listening, if you like what you see, get back with me and I will show you what&#8217;s next.  We are moving fast!  Or I will call you tomorrow.  What is a good time?&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>FOLLOW UP:</strong> ask simply &#8220;What did you like about what you saw?&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>ENROLL:</strong>  Ask, &#8220;On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being &#8220;not interested at all&#8221; and 10 being &#8220;ready to jump in NOW!&#8221;, what level of interest would you say you have?&#8221; </p>
<p>If they are 1, thank them for their time and move on.  You are not trying to convince anyone.</p>
<p><strong>If a 2-6</strong>, you ask them &#8220;What do you need to have answered to move you up to being ready to <em>own your life</em> and develop a business with me that can help you build financial freedom?&#8221;  BE professional and you will get professional results and start attracting leaders.  If you treat this as a little hobby-biz, you will get hobby-biz results.  It is time to wake up and see that most people are heading for a financial train wreck and network marketing is being touted as the solution by many business leaders.</p>
<p>Just about any and every question a person will come up with is answered by another tool, such as the website.  This comes during the information gathering stage a person might engage in.  You can always go to any of the documents in the back office or the compensation video on the compensation page, or any of the other videos.  So, if a person asks a question, the easiest thing to do is refer to a tool and send it to them and show it to them.  Also, the &#8220;30 Day Just Get Two Plan&#8221; is very powerful and eye-opening.</p>
<p><strong>If interest level is 7 or above</strong>, move them toward signing up right away, if possible, and help them get started using the same system you followed with them.</p>
<p>The power of this process above is the total duplication it provides.  You are not talking, preaching, describing, selling, none of that!  It is all done by the tools and you are merely being the consultant that helps the person make the transition into the business.</p>
<p>If they wonder how they will be able to succeed, you simply remind them of exactly what you just did with them: List and Contact, Invite, Follow Up and Enroll.  Every day!  That&#8217;s it! </p>
<p>Pick a number that you can handle for contacts every day.</p>
<p>With the above process, using the simple call scripts in the back office, your phone call can be finished in 2-5 minutes on the Contact and Refer stage. </p>
<p>So if you have 30 minutes to an hour per day, without fail, you can build a powerful business!</p>
<p><strong>Where do you find leads?</strong>  You run in to them every day!  One of the new Aussie team members has been chatting with just about anyone she runs into.  During a day of shopping one day she talked to store workers, etc. and when she got home had 6 emails waiting to deliver information to!  You never have to run out of people to talk to about your business.   If people don&#8217;t know you are in business, you aren&#8217;t in business!</p>
<p>One member went into his back office, copied the email from the &#8220;Invite a Friend&#8221; page, pasted it in emails and sent them to 10 people referring them to the WhatisQuestTravelNetwork video.  The next day a guy called him three times and is signing up as an Executive Pack (buying the top 3 positions in his binary!)</p>
<p><strong>BIGGEST LOSER THING YOU CAN DO WITH YOUR BUSINESS?  </strong><em><strong>Keep it a secret!</strong></em></p>
<p>Again, look through the plans in the QuickStart, particularly from the 90-Day Blitz Play section and you will see how to generate non-stop action into your marketing funnel.</p>
<p><strong>Can I just get honest?</strong>  If you are not seeing progress in your business and having more and more conversations, you are not working it.  The above actions done daily for 30 minutes or more will absolutely work.  Promise!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A wise man once defined success as a refined study of the obvious. How true. Most of what we need to know, say, and do to achieve mastery in Network Marketing could be easily taught—and understood—by a 12 year-old.</p>
<p>Why then are we making this business so difficult?</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s agree to start teaching <strong>these simple truths </strong>to those who actually want to create their own destiny, and leave the rest of the world alone. After all, we&#8217;re involved in a great industry, with wonderful people, offering unprecedented opportunity. And we should be proud to speak the truth&#8230;</p>
<p>1) Network Marketing is a business.</p>
<p>Networking is a unique form of enterprise, and you&#8217;ve got to understand the game you&#8217;re playing. Therefore, mentally consume every page of your distributor manual, online or the day it arrives. Listen to the videos and audious again, and again, and again. Like a song on the radio, you master the words by hearing the music one more time.</p>
<p>2) Freedom by the numbers.</p>
<p>Understand the numbers, and your compensation plan. Start by involving five people and go to work. By your fifth year, the commissions paid on your invested efforts could well equal a mid six-figure annual income. After that, the sky&#8217;s the limit.</p>
<p>3) Attend every live and online event.</p>
<p>The weekly presentation is part of the process. You need to be in attendance every week—to see the presentation again.  You need the association, the environment and the culture to showcase your company for yourself and your prospects. True, not everyone attending every meeting earns $10,000 a month. However, <em>everyone earning $10,000 a month attends every meeting</em>. Now that&#8217;s a refined study of the obvious.</p>
<p>4) Work only one company.</p>
<p>Leaders understand this truth, because no man or woman can serve two masters.</p>
<p>5) Have a compelling written &#8220;Why?&#8221;</p>
<p>Success in Network Marketing is 20% how to, and 80% why to&#8230; The best part is, if your reasons are strong enough, you&#8217;ll learn everything you need to know along your journey.</p>
<p>6) Invest in yourself first.</p>
<p>Some people are still trying to earn an exceptional wage, using an ordinary education. It can&#8217;t be done. If you want to earn more, you&#8217;ve got to learn more. Therefore, read books, attend all the classes, and learn everything you possibly can.</p>
<p>7) Decide in writing you&#8217;ll be here a year from now.</p>
<p>Long-term written goals possess the power to pull you right to the top of your company. Put your dreams for your future on paper, and begin building your life of magnificence.</p>
<p>The great Winston Churchill once said, &#8220;The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it and ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.&#8221;  Get in on it.  Own Your Life; Change a Life!</p>

<p>How would you like to have prospects calling you every week or even every day, begging to join your network marketing business? It doesn&#8217;t happen overnight! But by performing some simple activities, you can create a steady flow of prospects coming to you asking to join your business.</p>
<p>As we teach over and over, the key is EXPOSURES and CONSISTENCY.  Also, methods that can be duplicated simply by your entire team very quickly. </p>

<p>Ever have a new distributor lose his enthusiasm about his network marketing business because his best friend said it was an illegal scheme? Or his brother shared the story of how Uncle Bob lost all his money filling his garage with useless products in a similar program. Or his cousin still remembers your new distributors first business experience the time his lemonade stand failed when he was five.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s face it, in most cases the last people we want our new distributors talking to are their close friends and relatives. By trying to protect their friend, they tend to become &#8216;dream stealers.&#8217; This negativity can spread like a disease all over your distributor. You&#8217;d better provide them with a cure, or better yet a vaccine against the virus. Don&#8217;t risk losing them for good!</p>

<p>If they say, &#8220;No,&#8221; and can&#8217;t spent 30 minutes reading an article on how to get rich, what are the odds they will be willing to build a list, read the distributor kit, go to a meeting and so on? Odds of them becoming one of your leaders at this time are slim to none. You just saved yourself a whole bunch of time by not prospecting this person any further.</p>
<p><strong>Prospects Will Get You Referrals Without Even Realizing They Did!</strong></p>
<p>Your upline sponsor has probably given you information on techniques that you can use to get referrals from your prospects. It&#8217;s a great idea but unless you give your prospect a really good reason to give you referrals, they won&#8217;t! So, how do you get prospects to get you qualified referrals without even realizing they are doing so?</p>
<p>It&#8217;s easy. Ask them to do their friends a favor. &#8220;Pass along this article to anyone who might be looking to make some extra money. I will give you a cut from every referral, or better yet, if you join my team we both win!&#8221;  That&#8217;s the perfect time to share with them the principle that, &#8220;Most people do network marketing every day, but they just don&#8217;t get paid for it.&#8221; You see, now they&#8217;ve actually experienced for themselves how easy it is to do network marketing!</p>
<p>The next time they hear someone say, &#8220;I wish I had more money,&#8221; they can say, &#8220;Great, what&#8217;s your plan?  I think I have a solution.&#8221; And they can provide them with a plan by giving them a copy of the article!</p>
<p><strong>Double, Even Triple the Response Rate To Your Notification Letter!</strong></p>

<p>Sometimes your new distributors don&#8217;t want to talk to their friends because their friends might make fun of them. Their relatives will give them rejection, and their co-workers will just laugh if they tried to sell them network marketing. People don&#8217;t want to pass out brochures in the middle of a wedding. They don&#8217;t want to impose themselves on their co-workers. A lot of people say, &#8220;Gee, I don&#8217;t want to talk to my warm market, I&#8217;d rather talk to some strangers.&#8221; Well, we know the only reason people join is they know, like and trust us. The natural market we have is the people we already know. It&#8217;s easy networking because they trust us.</p>
<p>We let people know that they have one obligation, and one obligation only when they start this business. They&#8217;re not obligated to drag all their relatives to an opportunity meeting. And they&#8217;re not obligated to go to training or to take people to training a couple times a week either. They&#8217;re not even obligated to give presentations to people they know. They don&#8217;t have to memorize scripts or flip charts or anything like that. They&#8217;re not obligated to pass out brochures.</p>
<p>They only have one obligation and one obligation only. That obligation is to notify the people they know that they&#8217;ve started their own part-time business and why. Just let them know. Now, they don&#8217;t have to give them a presentation, all they have to do is let them know.</p>
<p>We like to use a notification letter. It notifies everyone in the new distributors&#8217; warm market that they&#8217;ve chosen to start a home-based network marketing business and explains why. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Imagine your boss walks in one day and says to you, “Bad news, we’re going to have to lay you off.  The economy is bad, business is down.”  Of course, you will feel really terrible.</p>
<p>Then the boss adds, “But you know what, if you were to work just one extra hour every day, from 5 to 6 o’clock Monday through Friday for no extra pay, we’ll let you keep your job.”</p>
<p>What would you do?  Most people would say, “Heck yeah!  I’ll work the hour overtime just to keep my job.”</p>
<p>Then the boss says, “I know it’s still kind of bad news, but maybe it will make you feel better to know this: for that one hour of overtime at no extra pay, at the end of three years we’ll let you retire—<em>at full pay!”</em></p>
<p>Now all of a sudden, you’re thinking, “Wow! What an opportunity!  Three years from now, I can retire at full pay for just an extra hour of unpaid work a day!”</p>
<p>So what would happen?  You’re working overtime with a very different attitude.  Maybe a year into it, a friend says, “Man, your boss is sure taking advantage of you.  If it was me, I would have quit a long time ago!”  And you would say to your friend, “No way I am walking off of this!  I only have two more years to go and I will be making full time pay and be able to retire.”</p>
<p>Eighteen months into it, your spouse might say, “Honey, why are you doing all that extra work for no extra pay.  You need to spend more time with the family and just stop.”  You say, “No, no.  Just another year and a half and I can retire at full pay.”</p>
<p>You would faithfully continue, Monday through Friday, working an hour overtime at no extra pay so you could have that residual income—and you would be fired up for the opportunity!</p>
<p>This is EXACTLY the opportunity you have with QTN and network marketing.  Spend an extra hour ,or its equivalent during the week, every day, Monday through Friday building your business.  And all you have to do is talk to a few people every day, invite them to see the tools, don’t worry about what to say or how good you are because the more you do it the better you will get.  And the longer you do this the more you will grow and at the end of three years you could be making as much or more than your full time job. Reacquaint yourself with the scripts and approaches written into the QuickStart System manual in your back office and START!</p>
<p>Perhaps the first month you think, “Man, is this really worth it?  People don’t do what they say they are going to do.  They don’t show up at my PBR, or they don’t watch the video or listen to the sizzle call, they don’t answer the phone when I keep the appointment and follow up with them.”  Maybe the 2<sup>nd</sup> month you are starting to see that the more people you point to the information, the better your chances are for enrolling people into your business.  So, you keep the vision for the 4 year residual retirement plan instead of the 40 year retirement plan that leaves most people broke and still hunting for a job at 65.</p>
<p>The fourth month, you keep getting better and better.  By month 6 you have more people talking and joining in one week than you did in the first 4 months.  And it keeps snowballing from there as you keep working that extra hour per day exposing people to your plan for residual income wealth.</p>

<p>Well, we can’t.</p>
<p>But we CAN promise that if you do what it takes to be successful, you will be.</p>
<p>It is ALL up to you.</p>
<p>Success starts with your commitment, pure and simple.</p>
<p>No commitment, no success.</p>
<p>Emerson said, “He who learns and learns and does not what he knows is like he who plows and plows and yet never sows.”</p>
<p> So often we hear people wish they were successful, but when you drill down into their activities, they are not doing what it takes to be successful.</p>
<p>Every business is built the same way.  Daily strategies that lead to success are the thing you do.  No one can do them for you.</p>
<p>You know those “100% automated, you do nothing, we do everything” programs?  They are a farce.  The only ones who make money with those are the ones who promote them.</p>
<p>They DO what it takes to make money with those programs, signing up people who want a free ride and do nothing but believe the false promises.</p>
<p>Then those people who made the promises move on to the next program and all those people who joined them are left believing that network marketing does not work.</p>
<p>Guess what?  Network marketing does not work.</p>
<ul>
<li>Neither does real estate marketing.</li>
<li>Neither does insurance marketing.</li>
<li>Neither does car sales.</li>
</ul>
<p>The person who works is YOU.</p>
<p>So, if you will get on with the daily activities of contacting people, inviting them to see the informatin about your business, following up with them and enrolling them who see the dream, you will be successful.  That we can promise.</p>
<p>If you don’t do those things, you will not be successful.</p>
<p>How are you doing on that?</p>
<ul>
<li>Make a BIG LIST of everyone you know.</li>
<li>Pick a number of people you will call to invite to the webinar or online video.</li>
<li>Do that daily without fail.</li>
<li>Get referrals from those who don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s for them but might know someone looking to make money and free time.</li>
<li>Do it enough times, you will find people who see it.</li>
<li>They will join with you.</li>
<li>Build a team by teaching them to do the same thing.</li>
<li>Work with those willing to become leaders and be successful.</li>
</ul>
<p>Do that for 4 years and you will never have to work for anyone again.</p>
<p>That’s our promise to you.</p>
<p>Better than the 40 year plan any day, don’t you think?</p>

<p>Now, acknowledging that prospecting and team-building is your primary action in network marketing, and growth as a person and a leader is your primary business, read that again and see what it says to you.  Read it a few times.</p>

<p>QTN is about to expand in remarkable ways.  Over the next few months there are things in development that are going to be game-changers in the network marketing world.  And you will be along for the journey! </p>
<p>So where are you going in your business?  What are you doing to succeed?</p>
<p>One thing I hope you are doing is removing all excuses from your vocabulary and mind about why you are not growing your team.</p>
<ol>
<li><strong>Don’t have time!</strong>  You have the same amount of time in a day everyone else does.  And you always have time for what is a priority.  So if developing FREEDOM by growing residual income wealth in 2-5 years is not important for you, then you will never find the time.  You can just keep enjoying your news programs about all that is wrong in the world and your hour or three of evening TV shows and forget about network marketing.</li>
<li><strong>My kids keep me too busy!</strong>  <em>Don’t ever use your children as an excuse for not growing your business!</em>  They are the REASON to grow your business.  I have six children, and when I started in network marketing they were between the ages of 3 and 15.  I was traveling all over the world in a missionary organization, co-pastoring a church, and leading a business network called PASS THE SALT all around the mid-south region of the U.S.  I was the busiest guy I know!  But I found an hour a day, without fail, to make calls and expose to the presentation.  I developed a 5-figure monthly income very quickly by focus and discipline.</li>
<li><strong>People around here don’t like MLM.</strong>  Cool!  I didn’t either.  But someone took the time to show me why it was the best business model on earth and once I got it, I jumped in!  it is education and friendship that makes this business great.</li>
</ol>
<p>There are tons of other excuses.  Eliminate them from your thinking and get on with it. </p>
<p>If people are not joining you in business, look at yourself and don’t blame the business or circumstances.  Grow in your own life and your business will grow.</p>
<p>Your growth is the key to your business growth.</p>
<p>So there are four investments you need to make to be successful with QTN:</p>
<p><strong>INVEST IN YOURSELF:</strong>  Spend time every day reading, studying, meditating and growing your personal life.  Learn the network marketing profession as well and realize it is mostly about personal growth.  Please, don’t use spirituality as an excuse for not growing your business!  Our Creator did not create us to be worker-drones and poor.  Poverty is a disease just like cancer.  It infects the mind and keeps people hopeless.  Invest in your own growth and your business will grow!</p>
<p><strong>INVEST IN A COMMITMENT:</strong>  Make a commitment to yourself that you really deserve to succeed, to develop wealth and that you will do what is necessary to achieve it.  KEEP your commitments.  When you say you will call someone, CALL THEM!  When you make an appointment, KEEP IT!  When you commit to a course of action, contacting certain numbers of people to expose them to QTN, MAINTAIN THAT COMMITMENT! </p>
<p><strong>INVEST YOUR TIME:</strong>  Time is a precious commodity.  Have you ever noticed how much you waste?  Finding 10-15 hours per week, working your business 4-5 nights a week making phone calls or helping with meetings, will yield tremendous dividends in just a few short years.  Make choices now to do things few will ever do so that you can have choices later to live like few will ever live.  And we will celebrate on your yacht when you see the fruits of those choices!</p>
<p><strong>INVEST YOUR MONEY!</strong>  Yes, it takes some money to grow your business. First, you purchased the package.  Second, you are maintaining your $10 a week ($40 per month) to keep your profit center active.  (By the way, have you looked lately at what you WASTE $10 a week on?)  Now you need brochures, DVD’s, books, business cards, and you need to attend company events and meetings.  You need to get meeting space for your presentations, you need to set up a sizzle line, you need to take people to lunch (have you read Beach Money?  That’s how he grew a million dollar income, by taking people to lunch 3 time a week and sharing his business.)  Invest your money back in to your business while you keep your day job.  Don’t go spend it foolishly when you earn commissions; sow it back into your field so your harvest can grow bigger.  Network marketing is not a “get rich quick” scheme, it is delayed gratification so you can reap the rewards for a lifetime. </p>
<p><strong>FINALLY, SET THE EXAMPLE FOR YOUR GROUP:</strong>  Be available.  Edify everyone by speaking positively about the company, the leaders, your upline, your downline, don’t criticize anyone else’s company ever!  Be positive!  Work hard, support your people, do 3-way calls, use your products, have fun!  Demonstrate how to use your time by asking yourself, “Will this get me closer to my dream of residual wealth and a global business?”  set your priorities and keep undistracted by big ideas and projects and get on with the simple daily action of prospecting.  In network marketing, the BIG thing is the LITTLE thing of daily spending 90% of your business building time in exposing new people to your business. </p>
<p>Keep information packets in circulation.  Keep helping with meetings.  Stay coachable.  Be on the calls.  Attend the meetings.  Keep growing your list.  Set yourself up for success by keeping your tools with you all the time.  Never give up. </p>
<p>Some of your reading this will be millionaires in a few short years.  You will be living your dream of family time, world travel, a 20 hour work week, the nice cars, the huge bonus checks.  Others of you won’t.  The only difference between the two groups will be those who made it happen and those who made excuses.  You can’t make money and excuses at the same time. </p>

<p>A common phrase in network marketing is “to make a million dollars, make a million friends.” </p>
<p>Life is about relationships.  Networking.</p>
<p>And there is no business model on planet earth that makes that more clear than network marketing.  It is a highly relational business.  Growth happens as you make friends and then make friends with their friends.  Your network and organization grows through loyal relationships with people who share a common vision.</p>

<p>QTN or no QTN, this message is necessary for you to grow into the person you are meant to be.</p>
<p>There are those who think little of themselves and their lives keep shrinking rather than expanding.  If you are not growing, you are dying.  It is a fact of life.  It is true of your business, but it is true of your life in general as well.</p>
<p>When you set yourself up for your own business you must organize for being successful:</p>
<ul>
<li>Set up your office space with your computer, even if it is in a corner of your bedroom or a closet.  Make it your “get down to business” space.</li>
<li>Get a notebook, pen and a phone, the only tools you need to succeed.  Make notes about the people on your growing list and keep up with contact information, conversations, details about their life and family, etc.</li>
<li>With your notebook, keep a constant and growing list of your prospects.  Your list is your gold mine and should grow and develop over years.</li>
</ul>
<p>Then very next thing you should do it <strong><em>get outside your office!  </em></strong>IF YOU THINK you can sit behind your computer and not make new friends, network with others and be successful, you have a rude awakening coming. </p>
<ol>
<li> Scatter a lot of seed to get a big harvest.</li>
<li>Give time for the compounding effect of your perseverance and networking to take effect.</li>
</ol>
<p>This morning my day started with 3 people CALLING ME with whom I have shared this business in the past few months.  They were not on my “hot prospects” list now since it has been so long ago that we first spoke, but circumstances change, life changes, and minds change.  And I did not chase them, they are finding me.  That does not happen accidentally.  It happens by planting a lot of seeds relationally and continuing to cultivate them as friendships.</p>

<p>Get it, read it, study it.  It will expand your thinking in this area.</p>
<p>To make a million dollars, make a million friends.  Your life will be enriched in more valuable ways than the money!   But in the process you will grow, your business will grow and you will be of greater value to humanity.</p>

<li>People in my town are different. </li>
<li>The people around me don’t believe in MLM or taking risks.</li>
<li>The website isn’t fancy enough.  I can’t get anyone interested.</li>
<li>I found a flight for $4 cheaper once.  That shakes my confidence in the travel deals.</li>
<li>I have been in this thing for 4 months and it has not made me any money.</li>
<li>I don’t know many people.  So I don’t know how I can build a business.</li>
<li>The payplan is confusing.  I don’t understand it.</li>
<li>I don’t have the charisma that so-and-so has.  I can’t talk in front of groups.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>All of these reasons are excuses.  All of them!</strong></p>
<p>Did you know that all people pretty much want the same thing?  The people in your town or country are not different than anyone else: they all want to live in a nice place, be able to have freedom to be what they want, would love to earn more money and want to spend more time with their family.  They want to be happy and have more options!  You are not selling travel!  You are offering opportunity for freedom!</p>
<p>Did you know there is no risk to MLM?  Network Marketing is investing in yourself; the only risk to that is if YOU will do what it takes to be successful.</p>
<p>Did you know that all the members have exactly the same websites you do and some are signing up people every week?</p>
<p>Did you know that travel is such a huge market that it is always possible you might find it a few dollars cheaper somewhere else?  But that is not really the point.  If you want to spend two hours looking to save $4, then go ahead.  With QTN you are always in the income-loop on travel.</p>
<p>Did you know you have the same number of hours as everyone else in the world?</p>
<p>Did you know that QTN does not make you money?  YOU make you money.</p>
<p>Did you know that you can always meet new people?  If you have shared the opportunity with your network that you know, there are millions of other people that are looking for what you have.  And you can always go back to your network later to report on how things are going and check on their interest level again.</p>
<p>Did you know you don’t have to understand the payplan for it to work for you?  Do the right things, your daily actions, and it works. </p>
<p>Did you know it does not take charisma to build MLM?  And did you know you can always add new skills to your life to be more successful?</p>
<p>Stop making excuses and allowing yourself to excuse yourself from succeeding.  If you don’t grow your business it is not the company’s responsibility.  It is yours. </p>
<p>You can make your own brochures, videos, business cards, DVD’s, hold your own webinars, team calls, training, meetings, etc.  You can do everything you need to build YOUR dream and YOUR business.  You are an INDEPENDENT REPRESENTATIVE!</p>
<p>If you don’t expose enough people to your business (see the last blog entry) then that is your responsibility.  No one else’s.</p>
<p>If you are not growing in confidence in the business model by spending time reading positive books and articles and learning about network marketing ,that is your responsibility.</p>
<p>If you are not doing what it takes, it is all your responsibility.  NO ONE ELSE’S.</p>
<p>Those who are learning about “<strong><em>Having Fun.  Making Money.  Making a Difference.”</em></strong> are building their business and not giving themselves excuses for not doing it.  How about you?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Network Marketing is Consistently Doing Three Things:</span></strong></p>
<ol>
<li>Prospecting (Contacting and introducing people to the opportunity network marketing gives them to own their life)</li>
<li>Presenting (Referring prospects to the tools that make your contacting efforts pay off)</li>
<li>Preparing (Follow-up, Enrolling and training your new members with this simple system)</li>
</ol>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">The success of your prospecting depends on two main things: </span></strong></p>
<ol>
<li>The number of exposures you create and</li>
<li>The message you convey </li>
</ol>
<p>That means you need to find a quick and effective way to expose as many people as possible to your information and message.  “New blood is the lifeblood of your business.” </p>
<p><strong><em>If you are not exposing large numbers of people to your business, your business will not grow.</em></strong>  Many people say, “This isn’t working for me.”  I would ask them one question: “How many people did you expose to your business today and what did you show them?”  That is, after all, what network marketing is: <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">talking</span></strong> to people about your product or service and teaching them to do the same following a simple system.  Making friends and making friends with their friends.</p>
<p> And notice I said “talking.”  No matter how you generate your leads, you must talk to them eventually.  Network marketing is relational networking, not merely social networking, a la Facebook and Twitter.  Those are great ways to connect and generate leads, but anyone successful in business will follow the Contact, Refer, Follow-up and Enroll rhythm.</p>
<p>Chances are that many of your prospects will be long-distance.  In a global community, and with a global business model like Quest Travel Network, that is to be expected and welcomed.  This method is very powerful, quick and simple whether with local networks or long-distance.</p>
<p><strong>ALERT:</strong><strong> WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO READ CONTAINS A MILLION-DOLLAR $ECRET!</strong></p>
<p>Let me give you a true story as an example of the importance of numbers in exposing people to your business: W. Clement Stone was the CEO of Combined Insurance Company in the 50’s.  He is probably most famous for co-authoring some self-development books with Napoleon Hill.  He was asked to train a group of insurance salespeople in Chicago where their sales were dismal.  The sales force was averaging one sale per week per agent and the district manager was unable to help them achieve better results.</p>
<p>After interviewing half of the agents, Stone told the manager his agents were easily capable of selling one policy per day by changing one thing: their number of approaches.</p>
<p>To prove his point, Stone created the most ridiculous recruiting question they had ever heard and required them to use it during a contest.  When the district manager heard it, he argued with Stone saying it would never work.  Stone told him to either do it, or stick with his dismal results.  Here was the strategy:</p>
<p>The agents were to knock on doors and ask the question, “You don’t want to buy any insurance, do you?”  The contest for each agent was to see how many doors they had to knock on to get one policy sold. </p>
<p>The agents and the district manager were all convinced that no one would sell even one policy.  But they made an amazing discovery.  When an agent knocked on an average of 60 doors and used that ridiculous question, one prospect would respond affirmatively out of the 60 homes.  Eventually, someone would say, “Well you know, my wife and I were just talking about that. Funny you should knock on our door.” </p>
<p>Once Stone demonstrated it was simply a matter of exposures, they were able to create one sale per agent a day by each agent knocking on 60 doors even with that ridiculous question.  <strong><em>The agent concentrated on doing the proper activities that led to the desired result rather than focusing on the result itself </em></strong>(that is a very important sentence!). </p>
<p>Therefore, an agent knew that his main work was to knock on 60 doors a day and ask the question.  The averages took care of themselves and that is how the money flowed as an effect.  In a very short time after refining the process, they were able to get agents up to 5 to 8 sales per week.  <strong>They proved what every successful network marketer has proved for decades: it’s first and foremost about numbers of exposures.</strong></p>
<p><strong>That is the million dollar $ecret</strong>: focus on the one thing you can control, <em>your activity</em>!  The rest will take care of itself.  If you invest the time, energy and focus in your business now the day will come where with one check you will be able to pay off all of your bills.  But your focus is to do the activities that lead to the results.</p>
